Three-time grand slam champion Murray coached Djokovic, who is still seeking a record-breaking 25th major crown, at the Australian Open in January.
Djokovic reached the semi-finals of that tournament but was forced to retire midway through his semi-final clash with Alexander Zverev, due to a hamstring injury.
Speaking before losing in the first round of the Qatar Open last month, Djokovic confirmed his partnership with Murray will continue indefinitely.
Widespread reports suggested on Monday that Murray had agreed to stay on in the role, as Djokovic looks to claim the trophy at Indian Wells for the first time since 2016.

Loads of anticipation have surrounded the World No.18,mgbet as a win would make him the third Indian in history to achieve this feat. The last time an Indian won the title was Pullela Gopichand in 2001, 23 years ago. Prior to him, Prakash Padukone clinched the gold way back in 1980 marking a significant milestone in the oldest badminton championship in the world. Apart from them, only the two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen have come close to the silverware, unfortunatley not close enough to grab it. Sindhu finished runner-up in 2016, while Sen fell short of winning the title in 2022, finishing second.
After cruising to the round of 8 at the All England Open Badminton Championshiplllljogo, Lakshya Sen is aiming for the coveted title that no Indian player has won since 2001 (when Pullela Gopichand won the men's singles title). "I want to better my result from 2022," he said. Given this, the Indian also seeks the chance to qualify for the Paris Olympics.
